As a prerequisite, all candidates for the QCF program must hold a US or US equivalent (four-year) bachelor's degree. If you hold a three-year bachelor’s degree, you can consult with our Office of Graduate Studies with details of where the degree was attained and in what discipline, and they will let you know if you qualify.

If you completed your education outside of the United States, we highly recommend using one of the three Georgia Tech-approved credential evaluation services: IEEE(link is external)Educational Perspectives(link is external), or SpanTran Pathways(link is external).

If you do not choose one of our approved credential evaluation services, your credentials/documents will be evaluated in-house by the Office of Graduate Studies. Please be aware that the in-house evaluation process does take longer than using one of our approved evaluation services.

We do not accept evaluations from World Education Services (WES), but you may use their free Free GPA calculator to assist with converting your GPA to a 4.0 scale to self-report in your application. If admitted, our Office of Graduate Studies will verify the self-reported GPA.

Unofficial copies of the following documents must be submitted at the time of application:

  • Native Language Transcripts
  • English Translation of the Native Language Transcript
  • Native Language Degree Documents (if you have graduated)
  • English Translation of the Native Language Degree Documents (if you have graduated)

Unofficial copies of these documents may be uploaded to the online application, but please note that you may be asked to send official copies to the Office of Graduate Studies if admitted to the program.
